What is the expected time committment involved?The 2020 course is expected to run between February and May. Weekly class session are run for a few hours on a weeknight and it is expected that participants will attend 90% of these. Outside of class, participants will need to commit extra time to work on deliverables and attend team meetings. We estimate that the weekly time committment is approximately 8 hours.

Who should apply?The main specialities we are looking for are Design (UX/UI), Tech and Programming, Health and Business. We take students as early as late undergraduates through to senior professionals. That said, we welcome anyone with a passion for digital health to apply!

Will you take an IP share?No! We want our teams to own 100% of their IP on graduating from the course and to feel fully empowered to move forward with implementing it.

What is involved in the application process?Stage 1 of the application process is an online application form, very short video and a copy of your CV. Successful applicants in Stage 1 will be invited for a short interview with the course directors. Applicants that successfully pass the interview will be offered a place in Perth Biodesign for Digital Health.

What is the cost of the course?The course costs $1000 upfront. On completion of all deliverables, participants will receive a $500 reimbursement, effectively make the total cost of the course $500.
